Dear Mary and Chris,

Just a brief note to thank you for your numerous attentive letters and Big L updates throughout the year. At times, when I reminisce over the backbreaking and mind-boggling efforts that went into Big L, I could not possibly thank you enough for keeping the blood, sweat and tears fresh and alive. Without you, Radio London would merely be an ever fading, occasional memory.

The crop-duster ferry flights have nearly ceased. I made only one overseas flight this entire year, and it was to Valencia, Spain where I've taken twelve others in past years, so no new interesting territory to explore.

Sometime soon, I hope to lean back relaxed in a BA747, and come to England to make brief visits to many friends I've made since my first visit there in 1954. Mary and Chris will be high on the list! Until I can personally wish you greetings, I hope you enjoy a healthy, Happy New Year.

Very best regards, Tom Danaher

Well, I've just spent an hour wandering around the website checking out the new stuff. Those kneeunion pics look absolutely marvellous parcelled together like that, you've obviousknee done a lot of work on both those and the other text updates. Bet you were on your knees when you finished that little lot. So sorry I haven't been able to visit the site before now but only just catching up after the Christmas festivitknees.

Well done to both you and Chris and a very Happy New Year to you and Radio London – keep up the good work. You'll love me for saying that, won't you? All those messages from people you've brought together after long years apart tell their own story of how much joy you've brought to everyone, so a well deserved big thank you to you both from one of your Club Officials.

Club Official 381, Pauline Miller

Hi Chris and Mary! Happy New Year and once again congratulations and many thanks must go to both of you for keeping the high standards and top quality articles that appear on the site. It is absolutely superb and you deserve a medal (or two!!) for all the hard work you put into this site and your work at Stoke Mandeville.
Regards, John Cronnolley

Mary and Chris, I've been so busy of late that I'm finding it difficult to do much with the web pages – really must plan my time more carefully next year. A guy in the States has sent me a CD with 9 hours of Radio England broadcasting and a lot of studio quality jingles, some of which I will be putting on the site during Jan/Feb. Have a fantastic and even more successful New Year!
Best Wishes, Clint, SixtiesCity

Keep up the good work – it is a joy to see your site. Many thanks and best wishes for 2003

Hi there Mary! Thanks very much indeed for the "mench" and what a big one it is too. It's wonderful to see how the Big L site has expanded to reflect the watery days of offshore radio. With each name you 'rediscover' comes a wealth of fabulous memories, it's a credit to all concerned.
Have a very Happy 2003. Andy Cadier (Once known as Martin Kayne)

A Very Merry Christmas from Suzy and Roger Gale

Happy New Year to you, and all Offshore radio supporters, past and present. Here's to a great 2003

All you folks, have a good 2003. Regards, Mark and Paul de Haan

Cheers! Thanks for the nice words and the pictures from the Big L home. In the dark and cold weather here in Stockholm we are thinking of the nice time we had in St. Lucia a couple of weeks ago. (left)

No Big L to listen to, but a lot of fun radio from Venezuela.
Birgitta and I would like to wish you a Happy New Year!

May I take this opportunity to wish you and all your fans a peaceful and prosperous New Year. I look forward to reading your excellent site in 2003.
