Radio London's LPAM (Low-power AM) Package

For Sports Venue RSLs: (click here for Hospital Radio)

Your Sports Venue (football ground, race track, etc) could be broadcasting on AM sooner than you think!

Q Why would we want to have our own transmitter?

A Football grounds and race venues can transmit their commentary to spectators using AM radio. What better way to keep people up-to-date with the match or race, both in the ground and for several of miles outside. Why not have pre-event interviews and discussions that people can hear on their way to the venue?

Q But I thought you could only get an RSL (Restricted Service Licence) for 28 days consecutively?

A Not so. You can have the 28 days of broadcasting as one day per week, spread over 28 weeks, if you want. Within certain limits, you can have the days whenever you choose.

Q Sounds good. What's our next step?

A We would suggest that once you have decided to investigate the feasibility of getting your own station on air, that you contact us. We can then take you through the specifics concerning the installation. Our team has many years' experience in radio, so rest assured that we know what we're talking about!

Q We would like to hear more about the package. Whom do we contact at Radio London to take this further?

A Once you have some clear ideas of what you wish to achieve with an AM output, just email us and we'll get in touch with you.
